Dropbox.com is truly amazing! Life is totally insane sometimes and forgetting things is a breeze. Dropbox makes it one step easier to make that smooth recovery that nobody noticed. Perhaps you totally forgot your laptop. Or maybe it even broke and you need to read up on something before an exam and you have an iphone. Or maybe you just want to show a friend photos without waiting for your Facebook Mobile site to load. Really, dropbox will be there to help.

I was very skeptical of another program promising to backup my life and make it easy to do this and that; mainly because they never hold their end of the bargain and the data is never easy to retrieve or upload in the first place for that matter. Dropbox was different. The setup took two seconds. Not literally but less than a minute I am sure of. It asked if I had an account in case I was installing it on multiple machines and if not, set one up in seconds. This time, it was seconds!

Dropbox then asked if I wanted to place their special folder in the default spot, 'My Documents', or in a place I chose. I chose default because it actually makes sense. It is not another folder on the desktop and all I have to do is hit the Windows key and 'E' anytime I want explorer anyway. That is about it. I went on to install the application on another two systems, each with no hiccups during installation and then proceeded to install the iPhone app.

The Dropbox iPhone app is also a breeze to install. I entered my account info and was staring at a PDF file I had just placed into my Dropbox folder on the desktop of my PC. Amazing!

And as if it could not get any better than that... It is also a time machine. You can log in to your account online and undelete items just in case. So go ahead and try it out at Dropbox.com. Take the tour and enjoy.
